Dear husband is into buy and selling of cars besides being an old school auto enthusiast. at first i couldn't dig what he's up to, i mean buying cars almost the same as my age or even older then seeking every corners of Luzon for parts and other props for it, repainting, detailing and all the works makes me tired by just imagining. but when i get used to it, it's really nice actually. specially when i go with him to his weekly old schooler meeting at Alabang where numbers of old cars enthusiast meet up to talk and sell merchandise like used auto parts, used transmissions or even used engines! I even remember getting introduced to Dominic Ochoa a few months back! yes, he's a member of that club. anyways, back to old and restored cars, a lot of times topics of of our conversion is about his craft, being so intrigued to what he does, i asked him details of everything he puts in the cars hes restoring, sometimes he puts accessories that is so small but has a big value for the people who actually know what its for. but there are builders or restorers who are not into searching for the parts that are needed thus customizing is what they do, actually that's what customization comes in, and the companies behind it!

Not really sure if this is the year of getting pregnant, you see, I have what, quite number of friends who are on their way to mommyhood, some first timers, while the others are just returning. And I also notice how maternity dresses literally flood the women section at the mall these days, probably the demand for maternity clothing becomes high or something, thus explains the huge and noticeable supply. Which makes me really bitter! why?! because as I clearly remembered, it took me like what, forever to find fashionable maternity clothes during my pregnancy days! And for a pregnant woman, it's not that easy to understand you know. I often went home devastated having nothing on hand from almost a whole day of scouting for a perfect jeans meant for a fully bloated tummy! but now? oh men, clothes for preggies are everywhere! and the designs? oh so good! it can sometimes fit plus size women too without having to notice that it's for pregnant ladies. Now that's really something to look forward too, especially those who are trying to conceive.

And so our box filled with impromptu shopping stuffs has arrived two days ago. But what makes me really excited about it are my DSLR loots! from my d40 battery grip, rechargeable batteries
for my external flash, spare SD card, spare Nikon battery, battery meter and flash diffuser! In fact, I wasn't able to control myself and immediately tried the battery grip on my first love camera.. and it was great! it fits well and ye, basically give my goody old camera an agrressive look in an instant! :D

My favorite part of the Oscar's is the red carpet walk of the celebrities... I totally love seeing them in designer gowns! The designs they strut will surely hit the local scene for sure... it'll be the basis of the coming weddings and girls would surely try to copy the designs and have it for their prom and grad ball outfit! ;)

Earlier today, we happened to pass by another huge road accident and it caught us by surprise that no one is attending to that commotion. I overheard from the bus dispatcher that the accident happened for more than twenty minutes already, and the fact that the nearest Police station is like what, a few meters away from the scene. And those in charge are the ones whose mad and irate when they arrive because that freaking accident gives them task to attend to. Now that's the usual style here and we are used to that. Rotten style right.
I wonder how we'll be able to adapt the ways an rules of the other countries like the US, where they have certain protocol to follow in case of accident, and they arrive fast to the scene! even those Truck Accident Attorney San Antonio are often visible to take note and do their thing right then and there. Hopefully someday we'll have a better way of laws that'll benefit all.

Been bumming around lately that I found myserf into reading online showbiz magazine for some days now and what took me so long to finish are the photos and stories of the celebrities who owns magnificent cars. Well, magnificent in a way that they own lavish modern cars and at the same time some of them still embraces the old school ones - which I am quite familiar with. You see, the husband is considered to be one of the many who fancies old but restored automobiles. In fact, he has been known in so many places when it comes to strutting well maintained twenty year old or older cars for sometime now. He has been buying, restoring and selling different brands, from the most common to the luxurious ones actually. And lately, I heard that he has been thinking of getting a two decade old Mercedes Benz... though I sometimes wish that in the future we'll also be able to buy a honda insight! and you wonder where did I get the idea of the said modern class car model? from the magazine of course! As mentioned by one of the car enthusiast celebrity on how he spends his time browsing over at the thecarconnection.com checking out the latest fad and reading reviews on the cars and all that has to do with it.

And the countdown has began. Dear husband will be coming home less than two months from now! Something that my daughter and I look forward to. Imagine spending special occasions without him is such a crap and sappy feeling. So when he told us that he'll be home this coming May, we are all giddy happy! Though there are still no definite date on his arrival, but as he said anytime that month. So we better be prepared! :D
Anyways, aside from his announcement of coming home, he asked me to create calling cards. But unfortunately, I do lack the power to create one using photoshop! I know, after all these years, I still zero on that case. Maybe the artistic inside me has not yet been waken up or something, or maybe, it's just me and my lack of gift to such thing! Thank heavens for technology for we can now design a business card online, with all their wonderful layouts and designs to choose from, all I got to do is pick whatever that calls my attention and there, just write down the details that should be on the card and voila, instant business card to be delivered right unto our doorstep in no time! See, less hassle and we can all expect great output too :D Oh how I love doing things online! ;)

Found my dad reading fliers he got from the mall about this cool wireless security systems to be install at ones home. Actually, getting one is one of the most advisable thing to do, especially with all the crimes being shown on the news, burglars and other theft cases here and there. So I believe investing in one of those expensive security system is basically like covering for the safety of everyone in the family 24/7.

summer is near!

I might (really hoping) to get a new outdoor furniture for our house before summer hits. You see, we barely spend time outside our house and I think it'll be good for us to have a few minutes everyday and breathe in some fresh air and let the little brat run and have fun for a while.And having a nice and comfortable chairs or sofas in the grassy garden makes everything great, perfect for an afternoon chill out with the whole family. And also, it'll be in favor for us also since we wouldn't have to run the air conditioner 24/7! Now that's being wise and thrifty right! :D

prom month

Earlier today, I heard the dj's over the radio talking about their Prom experiences, what's funny is that we have the same disastrous experience during our JS promenade in high school. Actually, it was one of my not so great moment - the years of the dance night. Maybe because I'm not so confident enough to strut my stuff and all plus the fact that I am one of the ugly duckling on our batch, for real! I'm one of the not-so-good-looking-girl in class during my time that is why, I wasn't really looking forward for that special night. I remember how my girl friends hunt and search different malls for the perfect prom dresses that they will wear, while I leave everything to my mom - she does scout for the design and asked our dressmaker to copy the exact design, but unfortunately, she wasn't able to produce a great output of the dress, it was way too short for me! And the fact that it was the time when fashion is all about long dresses and gowns! crap experience I know, so there it made me really conscious that night. If only fab short prom dresses
can be bought during that time, I would ask my mom get me one, even if that would cost so much for them! I only wished that Jovani prom dresses were fad during those days too!
Anyways, speaking of prom dresses and how timely it is now.. I chose few designs from the site www.promgirl.net - and if time will lead me back to my prom night, this are what I would love to wear!

second month

How time flies isn't!? Still can vividly remember how we had a great time last New Year's eve and now, it's the first day of the second month already! Where have the 31 days had gone?! I should have been more productive, work wise... but actually, I wasn't. Bummed around most of the time rather than finish all my pending works. You see, that has been always my problem, I always gets down right after the long and happy holidays, it's just to hard for me to keep up and all. Wonder if anyone is riding the same boat with me.... anyways, gotta find more tasks starting today (keeping my fingers cross) hopefully it'll be a fruitful month for me and for the others too. Will start now actually, anything aside for IT job search that has to do with online works sounds great to me.

I was just checking out my flickr account a while ago and saw this photo of myself - modeling my causeway butterfly dress. And then it hit me! I just gained so much weight now! argh. Had to look at the mirror for confirmation and was hit straight in the chest of the real score. I better search for the top rated diet pill which I can pop soon. I better start running again and lessen my carbohydrates and sugary foods intake in no time, or else?! my clothes wouldn't fit me and I will definitely feel down and sad and all... :(

nifty fifty or the 35mm

I am now in the midst of thinking on selling my nifty fifty lens. Why? because after hearing so much rave and was able to read great reviews (aside from the numerous acne products review) on the 35mm 1.8, I think switching is one great move. So there, will post the item over at my flickr account and have a blog post about it if I am fully decided to let go of that. Hopefully this weekend, will let you guys posted!

mophie juice pack air

Saw someone yesterday with this super cute Iphone case - that's what I first thought that time. Didn't actually know that it has other feature that's awesomely cool and all. So this morning, while checking out Daphne's flickr, I saw this Mophie Juice Pack Air thingie and immediately googled it! And yes, I think I'm the only Iphone user left who doesn't know about this really cool rechargeable battery case today, pity me. boo. So there, at least I was able to do my little research (aside of course from my forever hunt for the best weight loss pills ever!) and found it immediately!
So am I going to buy!? definitely! but not too soon... will have to save first and prioritize on some other much more important things you know :D

Clara

Last Saturday, I covered the first birthday celebration of Clara... a very cute and chubby little girl of Ate Coco and Craig. The family just came in from the states a few hours before the party itself, so imagine our worry and concern on how the little princess will react when she sees too many people, packed venue and hear the loud voices of the clowns and guests. Good thing, she was at her happiest during the entire party! In fact, she truly loves the clowns and their antics - that truly made her smile all throughout!
The whole party was a blast (will blog about that in a few, it deserves another post you know aside from this most effective diet pill hunt that I am so busy doing too)

As promised, will finish all my pending tasks online before the week ends... and glad to say that more than 50% of my tasks are done! whew. So as a reward to myself, had a little shopping spree for myself earlier today. Thank heavens for sales and huge discount offerings, most of the shops had this huge red shouting SALE banners inside and out, it was literally calling shopaholics to enter and check 'em out! Anyways, you wonder what I got? hmm, girl-y tops, leggings and a pair of super lovely faux sapphire earrings too! really, really love it! :S .. though I still dig the ones being offered at earrings.holstedjewelers.com! ;)

tutu on her birthday

For the past few days, I've been site hopping and searching photos for inspirations that we can use for my daughter's birthday outfit. Actually, I had already bought her a dark pink tutu skirt and white princess top which she actually chose when we were at the mall. Now the thing is, I'm still undecided on what to let her wear for her footwear, you see she wants to wear boots and I wants her to wear a cool chucks - unfortunately she refused to try the latter. What makes the matter worst, there is no available boots in her size! I will try to look for in another branch this week and hopefully snag one (will also scout for stainless steel drums.). Anyways, here is one of the cutest inspiration I found from Etsy... knee high socks and boots goes well isn't? then I must say my little birthday girl got taste for she wants to wear her tutu with boots! cool.
