Photography is the art of capturing an image with the help of a camera and light. A camera without light will make your capture void. Dim light is still light. Light without a camera will render the image only in your mind.

There is art involved in how the composition is attained. It is not just mere capturing. The photo should be able to say a thousand words. A story can be seen without the actual words. To make it artistic, below is a mere guide.

You may have heard about the rule of thirds. It is placing your object (what your focus is) on the 1/3 or 2/3 part of your frame, whether vertically or horizontally. Putting it at the center or too much on the side will make the image imbalanced or too balanced giving the feel of falling off or rigidly strapped.

Depending on the effect you would like to project, lighting is very much the key to a good one. As much as possible you would like to use the light from the sun to give your skin color capture close to reality. Silhouettes would mean the light is behind the object while true colors to appear means the light is in front of the object and where the camera is. When you are in a rather dim place, always use a flash for your objects to appear.

Take note of certain clutter that takes your attention away from the object. Try to see which objects from behind the object would look like a continuity of the object that will make it look awkward.

My husband loves music  but admittedly, he can’t sing a decent song not even to save his life. But ironically, his prowess in creating sound systems for cars is an ace! I mean he garners awards from different car and audio shows here and there from time to time, something that he is kinda known for when it comes to car audio. Less than two months and the year is done! how time flies so fast, it was just then when we had a blast last new year and now? we are again anticipating the coming holidays! Which reminds me, I need to pay for our our motorhome insurance dues before December, before a lot of expenses flood my to settle list. Argh. Safety Guidelines in Construction Site

A construction site is one of the most dangerous workplace an employee can be in. Imagine the huge machines, the different building materials, and the massive number of workers that are present in the site at the same time. That is why it is important that all safety measures are in place to prevent any form of accidents.

To ensure that a construction site is safe for all its workers, here are a few safety tips:

1. OSHA Training. All workers, especially the supervisors and managers, must get osha training in order to learn the safety guidelines that must be observed at work to prevent any accidents from happening. The training will also provide them with the knowledge that each of the workers need to deal with accidents and injuries in case it happens.

1. Emergency situations. During an emergency like earthquake and fire, chances of having an accident are high in a construction site so it is important that the workers know how to respond to these emergencies. Emergency response plans should be set and planned and make sure all workers aware of this.

By following some of these safety guidelines, there will be less accidents and injuries in a construction site which is important to safeguard the health and safety of all the workers.

The husband has once asked me about us getting this insurance  while we are still young and life insurance rates for such are still affordable and all. But the thing is, we haven't found a good one that can offer us with a broad coverage or something just like what my parents has. Of Whitney was like two weeks ago, can’t remember if I already blogged about it or just mentioned it over at twitter. You see, I was way too amazed to experience (first time) a casa car check up. Actually, never thought that it would be that scrutinized, the way the car maintenance staff check and do all the works with our car! really amazing. For sure that is one of the main reason why there are people who chose buying model cars (even parts specially high end polaris ranger parts can be pricey) instead of foregoing the pre-owned ones that can bring headaches and troubles in the short or long run.

Not everyone is blessed to have a glamorous and well earning job. Especially now that we all know how hard to look for a job when there are a pool of so many unemployed individuals also scouting for the same. That is why, if given a chance to have a job, even not the most striking position but as long as visible to get on as a career, then grab it. Embrace it as much as possible and be grateful. For with that, you can be able to feed and sustain your family in the most noble way. So if you are offered a job to be one of the guys to do Tube Bending or whatever and you are positive that you can do it, grab and make the most out of it.

Now that September is here there is no way we can escape the fact that the most anticipated time of the year is a few splits and cartwheels away! Christmas, is when we see people get busy with so much things to do and buy for friends, families and loved ones. It is also the time when people becomes instantly jolly and perky even on crowded malls! And yes, it’s also the time when we need or oblige ourselves in gearing up our houses to become festive and Christmassy. dreaming summer

My daughter has been dreaming of going back to Boracay for days now. Probably it’s because of the last movie she watched that features a whole lot of pool scenes, thus made her wish of going on a vacation again. The thing is, the weather is not too cooperating nowadays, it usually rains in the afternoon and freaking hot in the morning with sudden rainfalls – something that is not really good to bear, it can actually cause sickness. So there, hopefully we’d be able to grab a deal after the rainy months so we can again dip and enjoy the hotel’s pool complete with pool heat pumps! 

Halloween Celebration

I used to not enjoy this celebration, but when I become a mom, surprisingly this occasion suddenly made it on my most-awaited event! For it is when I can dress up my little one in costumes to flaunt and boot while trick or treating. Just like last year, she dressed up as a rag doll from head to foot! Good thing my sister was with her to take photos and document the entire experience. I mean, those are for hard cores, and she is what, 4 years old!? c’mon!!! she must be kidding me.
